Electrolysis Treatment Plan

What Is An Electrolysis Treatment Plan

An electrolysis treatment plan is a map of your electrolysis journey from beginning to end. Electrolysis treatment plans gives an estimate of the amount of time it takes to get you hair free. Each map is unique based on the amount of hair you have and the treatment area.

Guidelines For An Electrolysis Treatment Plan

  • Treatments are more frequent for the first 3-6 hours of treatment because a considerable amount of hair emerges once you stop tweezing, waxing and threading.
  • At this point I advise all my clients to book appointments “as and when needed”.  As long as you’re not tweezing, waxing or threading you do not have to time your appointments to suit anything but your own availability.
  • After 4-6 hours of facial treatment, appointments for the average person become less frequent due to the considerable reduction in growth by that point.
  • Treatment of body hair is ideally done in multi-hour appointments that cover large areas. It’s best to stop removing the hair a minimum of 2 weeks prior to treatment. We treat all visible hairs in the area and follow 6-8 weeks later with a second clearance. By the third clearance, there will be only sparse growth left.
  • Follow my aftercare instructions, as well as the advice on temporary hair removal methods, and the results will materialize in the time frame given at your first appointment.

In summary,  the majority of facial electrolysis follows the same electrolysis treatment plan. Stop tweezing and trim between appointments only. Come as and when needed, and follow my aftercare instructions.
