I’m moving house soon and I wonder how I will replace the dry cleaner I’ve used for years. Not to mention the local shops I frequent for food – my butcher, my cheese shop, spice shop, etc. I already have plans to do a monthly shop downtown so I don’t give up my familiar routine.
Realistically though I will find a new butcher shop and use the dry cleaner at the plaza that’s closest to my new place. Some services are interchangeable, but electrolysis is not one of those services.
Electrolysis technique is unique to each electrologist. Effective electrolysis is an interplay between ethics, experience, technique and tools. Notice tools are last on my list. Many people, including some electrologists, think that the machine kills the hair but that’s not true.
I remember asking my own electrologist, Sarah Shrigley, what made her so different than everyone else. She replied, “ethics”. At the time I believed her when she said that the technique wasn’t difficult. With more than a decade of experience under my belt if someone asked me the same question I couldn’t reply in one word.
The difference between Follikill and everyone else is how I approach my work. I think of myself as more a craftsman or an artisan rather than an electrologist. That attitude is what drives my ruthless approach to eradicating your hair. I don’t think anyone comes close to me in terms of speed and efficacy.
My goal is to have you to spend as little time as possible with me because I’m sure you have better things to do with your time and money. Electrolysis treatment is a short term commitment at Follikill. No one needs to come weekly for years as is so common with other electrologists.
There are many businesses you frequent out of convenience, electrolysis cannot be one of them.
