Electrolysis Case Study 2025
I think it’s time to update my electrolysis case study page because some of my recent work impresses me so I thought it might be helpful for you to see what type of results are possible with electrolysis. One thing I find that the pictures don’t show is the true density of the hair.

I am very proud of the work I’ve done on Sherry, who grew this hair as a result of PCOS and laser induced hair growth. I started her in January 2025. Her great results owe partly to the fact that she stopped shaving completely and came for electrolysis as her hair grew out. This is only only one path to electrolysis success, I realize not everyone can let their hair go like Sherry. The results you see are after approximately 18 hours of electrolysis at Follikill on Sherry’s chin,neck, sideburns, cheeks and upper lip.

Audrey came to me and said, “you’d never know I’m actually half-black until you see my bikini line”. Her joke, not mine. Considering she is a blue-eyed blonde Audrey did have unusually dark and dense coarse hair on her bikini line. I don’t have a picture of her prior to her first appointment but you can still see how dense the hair was even after we started treatment (below left). The second image is a few months after we started treatment and you can see the reduction is about 80%, if not more, by then. I always work left to right so you can see her left side is in even better shape than the right.
I did a touch up on Audrey recently – after she had returned from her holiday. She had scattered hairs left after approximately 20 hours of electrolysis.

Alex presented with a full Middle Eastern beard – it was dark and dense and needed to be gone completely! We made great progress with monthly appointments of 3-4 hours( Alex lived a few hours outside Toronto). It was a pretty amazing transformation and the pictures don’t do it justice. We got to about 99% completion and then Alex moved again.
